Actor-turned-politician Vijayashanti on Monday joined the BJP, a party she had chosen in the late 90s to start her political career before joining other outfits, and asserted that only the saffron party can fulfill the aspirations of the people of Telangana.
Vijayashanti joined BJP in the presence of its general secretary Arun Singh, Union Minister G Kishan Reddy and Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar at the party headquarters in Delhi.
And, the Indian Navy today recovered the body of missing MiG-29k pilot Commander Nishant Singh more than 10 days after he went missing off the coast of Goa. Cdr Nishant Singh's body has been found 30 miles off the coast of Goa on the sea bed 70 metres below water after an extensive search mission.
