An Islamic State terrorist has been arrested in Delhi after a brief exchange of fire in the heart of the city. Police also recovered IEDs and weapons from the arrested terrorist late on Friday night. The Islamic State terrorist has been identified as Abu Yusuf, who had a prominent personality as his target in Delhi.
Delhi Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), said, "One ISIS operative has been arrested with Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) by our Special Cell after an exchange of fire at Dhaula Kuan." The firing took place between Karol Bagh and Dhaula Kuan area in New Delhi on Friday night. Police sources have said the terror operative had a major attack planned in Delhi and had done recce of several places in the national capital.
