The NEET Counselling 2020 Round 2 registrations for the 15 percent All India Quota (AIQ) of MBBS, BDS seats started today, November 20, at mcc.nic.in. It was earlier scheduled to begin from November 18 but it was postponed by the Medical Counselling Committee. This was because a revision for the NEET seat matrix was carried out due to the addition of the seats reserved for Wards of Insured Persons (IP Quota) in round 2 of NEET counselling 2020.
Candidates who wish to participate in NEET Counselling Round 2 will need to register again. Those who registered for Round 1 of counselling but didn’t join can also register for admission through the second round.
Once the NEET Counselling 2020 Round 2 is completed, MCC will begin a the last round of admissions for central and deemed universities, ESIC, AIIMS and JIPMER from 10 December.
NEET counselling 2020: How to register
Step 1: Go to the official website - mcc.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the link that reads ‘UG Medical Counselling’
Step 3: Click on ‘New Registration’
Step 4: Fill in all the information required.
Step 5: Register for NEET Counselling with new credentials that are generated.
Step 6: Go to ‘Candidate login’ and log in with the new credentials.
Step 7: Submit all the required details.
